  • How old do kids have to be to play at Castle Royale?
    Our playground is appropriate for kids once they can walk. Our structure is built to hold adults so anyone can play in it. If you are using our drop and shop service, all children must be at least 4.5 years of age.
  • Are socks required to enter the facility?
    Yes, socks are required and they are also available for purchase.
  • What should my kids wear to play?
    All kids should wear comfortable clothing as that is easiest for them to navigate through the playground. Longer pants are better than shorts so you don’t stick going down the fast slide.
  • Does your location have wheelchair and stroller access?
    Yes. There are elevators located in the mall for your convenience.
  • Does Castle Royale have washrooms?
    No, there are no washrooms within Castle Royale. The closest washrooms are located in the food court.
  • Can we bring food and drinks into the facility?
    Only booked birthday parties may bring outside food and drinks into the party area. For regular visitors, outside food and drinks are not allowed. However, you can bring in coffee and are free to leave for snacks in the food court, with re-entry allowed for the day. We sell a small selection of snacks and drinks that can be consumed in the seating area.
  • Can I bring food or drinks into the playground?
    No. We ask all children and adults refrain from eating and drinking in the playground. This is for sanitary purposes. All drinks and food must remain in the seating area only. This applies to the toddler area as well.
  • Can I drop my child off?
    Yes, if they are at least 4.5 years old. For drop and shop, the child can only be left a maximum of 2 hours and you must stay in the mall while they are here. You cannot leave the mall under any circumstance. The child must be able to play independently in the playground. To use this service, you need to have a Canadian or American cell phone in case we need to reach you.
  • What type of security measures do you have in place?
    When you purchase an admission ticket, each child and adult entering the facility are given a wristband. For Drop and Shop, each child’s wristband has the parent’s phone number in case we need to call them. When a child is dropped off, the parent is issued a wristband that matches their child. This is needed for pick up. If the parent does not have the wrist band we would need to see photo identification from the parent. Only the parent that dropped the child off, can pick up the child. We monitor the entrance to ensure that no children run out on their own. When a child is here with their parent, it is up to the parent to supervise their child at all times.
  • Is Castle Royale nut-free?
    While we do not sell products containing nuts, we cannot guarantee a nut-free environment as some guests may bring nuts into the facility. We try to keep the facility as safe as possible and will remind guests if we notice nuts being consumed.
  • Is parking available?
    Yes, Park Royal offers free parking for up to 4 hours.
  • Are deposits required for party bookings?
    Yes. A $199 non-refundable deposit is required for regular birthday party bookings. Private party deposits are $299 and non-refundable. The Private Party time lot is set in stone and cannot be altered.
  • How will my party run?
    Arrival: Arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your reserved time. Check-in at the front counter, and each attendee will receive a wristband. Sign In: Parents must sign in their children. Adults are $5.00 each, unless covered by the party host. Table Setup: Bring your own food, drinks, tablecloths, and utensils. If needed, we offer a $9.99 meal utensil package. Party Table: Kids' shoes and jackets go in the provided cupboards at your table. Extra adults can sit in the general seating area. Decorations: Only table decorations are allowed. No taping items to walls or using confetti, glitter, or piñatas. Helium balloons are permitted with weights. Meal Time: We recommend eating 60 minutes into the party. Plan for pizza delivery delays and serve cake after the meal. Playing: If time allows, kids can play again after eating. We can help round them up with a megaphone if needed. Drink Orders: Let us know in advance when to serve drinks, if ordered. Party End: Weekday parties may extend playtime based on availability; weekend parties must adhere to the schedule. Departure: Distribute goody bags, ensure children leave with the correct adult, and pack up your belongings. General Rules: All kids must wear socks, casual clothes are recommended, and no alcohol is allowed on the premises. Bathrooms are in the food court.

    Arrival: Arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your reserved time. Early entry may delay the exit of other guests. Call ahead if you want to drop off supplies earlier. Sign In: Each parent signs in their child. Parents can drop kids off if the party hosts agree to supervise all children. Food & Drinks: Bring your own food and drinks (no nuts). Free tap water pitchers are available. Utensils are $9.99 if needed. Table Setup: Any table can be used for your party. Kids' shoes and jackets should be placed at the front. Decorations: Only table decorations are allowed. No confetti, glitter, piñatas, or wall taping. Helium balloons are fine with weights. Meal & Cake: We recommend starting the meal after 60 minutes of play and doing the cake right after. Kids can play more afterward if time permits. Play Time: We can use a megaphone to call kids back when needed. 30-Minute Warning: We will notify you 30 minutes before the end to settle your bill. Charges apply only for children and adults present, including toddlers. Departure: Distribute goody bags, pack up your belongings, and ensure children leave with the correct adults. Mall Access: The rest of the mall is closed. All guests should park on the second floor near the store entrance. Give delivery drivers the same instructions.
